I'm building a 150 by 260 ft roping arena (don't look at me, I ride english). It should be large enough to do pretty much anything we need to. I have a perfect site for a semi-public arena. Right next to the paved road, has water and power available, drains perfectly, and has plenty of room for parking. It will be available by subscription to the community here. The Jr Rodeo folks are planning to use it, and eventually I hope to find a trainers from other disciplines to do weekly or monthly clinics.
I'll have a "Grand Opening" event with a playday. I won't decide when until we get the fence up and some footing on the way. Footing will be 4 inches of sand.
