I don't know that I mind the caretaking aspect -- that's sort of what having a dog or a horse is all about, too -- but I just don't understand kids. I'm pretty sure I'd mess it up from beginning to end and leave my children scarred for life. ;D And yes, much easier to enjoy the benefits, take the kids out somewhere fun and sugar them up, then dump them back on their parents. ;D
