The Andalusian crowe is riding is beautiful, but there are really gorgeous horses of that type, much taller and muscular, with very muscular, arched necks. Probably the producers did not want to pay that much for some horses... At least they do not make the same mistake as other movies which take place in Classical Antiquity and where you see Friesians!
