I LOVE the halter-as-harness idea. I never would have thought of that on my own!

An idea for storing saddlepads, etc: I keep a few in a rubbermaid container in the back of my truck. There is also room for some polos, some towels, an extra girth, etc. Handy, portable, and water-tight. (Though I wouldn't choose to leave it out in a rainstorm, maybe.)
