Oh, and when I did the actual cross-country skiing lessons the weekend before? I fell down four times. But I also became a champion at getting back up, and the instructor seemed dead impressed that I was doing awesome when I'd never been on any kind of skis before. By the end I was cruising around quite confidently, and it was totally fun. I can't wait to be able to actually do it with Tru but I need to find the money to buy some equipment instead of paying to rent it each time.
